Position

With a passion for corporate and real estate law, senior partner Christina Trappeniers assists companies and funds in various cases, both at home and abroad. Her specialisation? Mergers and acquisitions, private equity and real estate transactions. Apart from a master’s degree in law, Christina also obtained a master’s degree in company law, followed by an MBA at Solvay Business School.

Enterprising, experienced and with a particularly broad know-how. Before Christina became a senior partner at Laurius, she co-founded Ambos. Today she co-chairs the corporate and real estate department at Laurius, where she advises and assists clients in word and deed.

Christina has over 20 years of experience in advising Belgian and international companies, investment and real estate funds. As a lawyer, she successfully managed various M&A projects concerning residential care centers, a legal niche in which she has built up special expertise throughout her career.

Career

Before she was active as founding partner at Ambos (2009-2021), senior associate in the practice group Corporate and Finance law of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP (2004 – 2009), as a corporate lawyer with Monard-D’Hulst (2001-2004) and as an associate with Deloitte & Touche – Tax & Legal NV. She obtained her law diploma at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (2000) and an MBA diploma at Solvay Business School (2005-2007).
