Iustinian Captariu is the Managing Partner of the Bucharest office, the head of the Romanian Energy & Natural Resources and Competition & State Aid service lines. He also serves as head of the firm-wide Energy & Natural Resources sector and service line and further coordinates the office's Dispute Resolution service line. He focuses on energy & natural resources, environment and regulatory (including pharma regulatory), competition & state aid, infrastructure & projects, M&A, and joint ventures. He has an experience of over 14 years in advising clients on all aspects of energy law, including energy M&A, joint-ventures, reorganisations, licensing and regulatory matters, long term contracts, trading related issues and also public procurement procedures involving energy companies. He has significant experience acting for large companies in relation to the whole spectrum of competition law matters including cartels, dawn raids, abuse of dominant position, merger notifications, State aid etc.

Victor Constantinescu

Victor Constantinescu is a Partner in our Bucharest office and the Co-Head of the firm-wide real estate sector, with his remit extending across the entire C/SEE region. Victor focuses on all aspects of real estate transactions in the region for a range of international investment funds and local developers with over 15 years’ experience locally and regionally. His particular emphasis is on transactional work: acquisitions and sales of commercial real estate, as well as joint ventures, across all asset classes: retail, office, logistics, and agricultural. He has built a reputation for efficiency and commercial pragmatism in organizing and closing transactions and for building long-term relationships – skills that have earned him recognition as a top real estate practitioner for years in a row by major legal guides. Since joining the firm in 2017, Victor has already led transactions whose combined value well exceeds EUR 500 million.

Zsuzsa Csiki

Zsuzsa Csiki is a Partner in the Bucharest office and the co-head of the local M&A/Corporate service line – with her experience also extending to technology and financial regulatory/capital markets transactions. Zsuzsa ensures a strong mix of regulatory and transactional support, being backed up by a strong team of professional lawyers. Zsuzsa has over 18 years of experience in advising on the entire spectrum of private and public M&As: cross-border and domestic share deals and asset deals, business transfers, private equity transactions, public takeovers, mergers/demergers, restructurings and joint ventures. Zsuzsa has a strong reputation representing local entrepreneurs and private businesses in relation to investments by global corporates and investors, providing strategic advice on the deal process. Magdalena Răducanu

Magdalena Răducanu

Magdalena Raducanu is a Partner in the Bucharest office. She leads the local Banking & Finance service line and also serves as the co-head of the firm-wide Banking and Finance service line. She has more than 22-year experience in advising reputable banks and financial institutions or well-known borrowers on banking and finance matters. She has expertise in a broad range of matters after having dedicated her focus exclusively to banking and finance and financial regulatory matters. Lately, she has dedicated significant efforts in assisting banks on various ESG-related mandates. Since joining our office’s local banking practice, Magdalena has advised or coordinated banking mandates in the amount of EUR 4 billion.
