Career
Gonzalo is a partner of the tax practice of the firm’s Barcelona office and works in all areas of tax law. He advises medium- and large-sized companies from various business sectors on an ongoing basis. In particular, he has extensive experience in the taxation of real estate transactions, tax planning, the conducting and management of tax inspections and tax disputes.
In the area of international taxation, he advises foreign companies and individuals on their investments and divestments in Spain. He has also participated in group and transnational financing restructuring transactions.

Degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) and from the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña (UIC).

Teaching:
Gonzalo collaborates, in the academic filed, with various public and private institutions, teaching on a regular basis on various tax-related courses and master’s programmes and participating in various conferences on tax-related matters. He is Associate Professor of the Tax Law Department of the UDIMA (Universidad a Distancia de Madrid) and Professor of CEF (Centro de Estudios Financieros), combining his work at this latter institution as co-director on the Master’s Programme in Taxation of the Value Added Tax subject with his teaching of numerous “in-company” courses. He is also Visiting Professor at the Universitat d´Andorra and academic director of the seminar “The Review of International Tax Planning”.
