Career

Sigal is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate, Zoning and Construction practice group and specializes in complex real estate transactions and projects.

Sigal provides legal counsel to entities in the commercial sector regarding all aspects of real estate transactions, including entrepreneurs, contractors, financiers, landlords, tenants, public and private companies, and purchase groups.

Sigal oversees real estate transactions and projects from their inception through to the finalization of construction, including advising projects during planning, financial backing (construction and permanent loans and mortgages), land purchase, tax related issues, the obtainment of permits, various kinds of agreements (e.g., financing agreements, construction contracts, partnership agreements, combination agreement, management agreements, agreements with architects and engineers), and the registration of rights.

Sigal also provides legal counsel regarding the national outline plan 38 (‘TAMA 38’ – the national overall plan for reinforcing existing buildings against earthquakes).
