Peter Fauerholdt Thommesen

Partner, attorney Peter Fauerholdt Thommesen is one of Denmark's leading experts in construction and procurement law. He advises clients in the public and private sectors, including technical consultants, contractors (both Danish and international), insurance companies, and others on all aspects of construction and infrastructure projects, including contracts, collaborative models, and procurement procedures. He also has extensive experience in structuring public-private property development projects and other types of partnerships. Dispute resolution is one of Peter’s key areas of expertise, including arbitration, litigation, dispute boards, and mediation. Henrik Hauge Andersen

Partner, attorney Throughout his career, Henrik Hauge Andersen has provided legal advice on construction and procurement within the building and civil engineering sector. He has acted for all parties in the construction industry, with a primary focus on property developers and consultants, while also regularly advising contractors. Henrik’s main expertise is dispute resolution. He has very extensive litigation and negotiation experience from several major court and arbitration cases in the field of construction, including cases relating to the construction of the Copenhagen Metro, local authorities and social housing associations, as well as large head office building projects, insurance cases, and all aspects of the legal position of technical consultants. However, Henrik’s main focus is on speedy, effective dispute resolution through negotiation, including mediation and conciliation. Since 2012 Henrik, together with Insight Events, has organised the leading conference on construction law, ”Juridiske udfordringer i bygge & anlæg” (Legal challenges in building and construction), and he is a member of the board of the Danish Society for Construction and Consulting Law. Helle Lorentsen Bøgeskov

Associated partner,  attorney Helle Lorentsen Bøgeskov is a specialist in procurement and construction. She provides legal advice to utility and infrastructure companies as well as public authorities on all matters relating to the tendering and execution stages – often in relation to calls for tenders for large-scale construction or renovation projects in a broad range of utility areas and in the social housing sector. Helle has extensive experience in providing strategic advice on the drafting of tenders and the execution of the tender process from start to finish, as well as the preparation and negotiation of contracts and framework agreements. She also provides advice on the rules governing the duty of local authorities to invite tenders for waste suitable for incineration. Helle has long-standing experience in providing advice on tendering and construction law in a number of utility areas, particularly in the fields of district heating, water supply and treatment (drinking water and waste water) and waste incineration, as well as generation and distribution of natural gas and power. In 2024, Helle assisted the Copenhagen Metro and Copenhagen Light Rail in preparing their ’second generation’ social clauses. Helle also har particular experience on tendering and construction law within the social housing sector. Eva Olesen

Eva Olesen

Partner, attorney Eva Olesen is a specialist in public procurement and construction. She advises public authorities, utility companies, and private enterprises on all aspects of the procurement and execution phases – frequently in relation to large-scale infrastructure tenders and tenders within the social housing sector. Eva has extensive experience providing strategic advice on procurement design, managing procurement processes from start to finish, and drafting and negotiating contracts. She also advises on various models of cooperation and organization (early contractor involvement), as well as the specific rules governing municipalities’ obligation to tender waste suitable for incineration. Since 2016, Eva has acted as a legal advisor to the construction consultant for social housing associations and their management companies involved in the realisation of the HP4 masterplan for Brøndby Strand Parkerne, a project with a total budget of DKK 4 billion. In 2024, Eva assisted the Copenhagen Metro and the Greater Copenhagen Light Rail in drafting the company’s ‘second-generation’ social clauses. She also contributed to the formulation of its ‘first-generation’ clauses in 2016. Morten Ruben Brage

Morten Ruben Brage

Partner, attorney Over the past fifteen years, Morten Ruben Brage has specialised in legal matters within the construction sector, successfully litigating numerous cases before the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board and the national courts. Throughout his career, Morten has provided expert advice to some of Denmark’s foremost construction project owners on complex infrastructure projects and claims management. He has also served as a trusted advisor to several major consortia of consultants involved in large-scale public construction projects, including representing them in arbitration proceedings related to these projects. Morten possesses extensive experience in advising all parties involved in construction processes on issues such as consultant liability and financial disputes arising from project delays. In addition to his construction law experience, Morten has significant experience in environmental law, including advising on complex matters such as environmental impact assessments (EIAs), compulsory purchases, and various other restrictions on real estate use. Since 2017, Morten has been a regular lecturer in the accredited +2 programme for architects. He frequently conducts courses and delivers lectures on construction law topics, sharing his knowledge and insights with industry professionals. From 2015 to 2023, Morten served as principal legal adviser on the construction of the BIO4 plant.
