Career
Anela joined VISCHER as a trainee in 2012 and legal consultant in 2013. She rejoined VISCHER as an associate in 2014. Since the beginning of her career she has been specializing in employment and labour law. She has enhanced her international experience with a secondment in the employment law team of a leading international law firm in London. Since 2021 Anela holds the title of Certified Specialist SBA Employment Law.
Anela was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 2014. Before qualifying as an attorney she gained experience as clerk at the District Court of Liestal, Basel-County (2011-2012) and student and research assistant, respectively, to various professors at the University of Basel in the fields of criminal law, criminal procedure law, civil law, comparative law and private international law (2007-2011) as well as to Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Frank Vischer in the field of labour and employment law (2012-2013).

VISCHER’s employment team supports clients on issues such as work permits, executive compensation, data protection, staffing, social security, and pension. The team also has particular expertise in internal investigations on harassment and discrimination. The team is headed by Marc Ph. Prinz, who has strong expertise in labour and employment law issues in the context of reorganisations, restructurings (mass dismissals), and transactions. Jeannine Dehmelt and Anela Lucic’s practice covers both contentious and non-contentious matters.
