- Acted for a new to market aviation company on the financing of a Pilatus PC-12 NGX Aircraft, with financing provided by a well known UK aviation finance provider. The firm advised on and negotiated the Aircraft Loan, Aircraft Mortgage and Cape Town Security Agreement and ancillary security documents with the lender and advised generally on the completion mechanics for an aircraft being delivered in Switzerland.
- Acted for the lender on the financing of the acquisition of a Rolls Royce Trent turbo engine by a borrower. The firm advised on and negotiated the Engine Loan, Engine Mortgage and Cape Town Security Agreement and ancillary security documents. The engine was leased to an airline in Turkey and our advice included advising on an assignment of the engine lease. The firm worked with Turkish counsel in relation to the delivery of the engine in Turkey and its use as a spare engine for a Turkish airline.
- Advising the investor, as mortgagee under an aircraft mortgage, on its security interests in a Boeing 737 Aircraft, including advice on an aircraft sale agreement and release of security and subsequent amendment to the aircraft sale agreement to accommodate a deferred payment instalments.
