Cobalt

Cobalt advises international clients and financial institutions on an array of matters such as employment structures, contracts and dismissals. Led by Dalia Foigt-Norvaišienė, the firm has been assisting German pharmaceutical company Bayer with the implementation of the new Labour Code. Ellex stands out as being the ‘best in the Baltic market’, according to one client, and is active in a range of employment matters, including cross-border transfers, dismissals and litigation. Led by Ramunas Petravicius and Rimantas Stanevicius, the team advised Uber on the employment aspects of its operations in Lithuania and conducted a review of its global incentives programme. Petravicius also assisted longstanding client Sicor Biotech with the implementation of the Labour Code, which included reviewing HR documentation. Audinga Liekyte joined the team from Primus Derling. Clients include H&M and Revolut Technologies.

WIDEN

iLAW's niche practice group recently acted for the National Confederation of Officials' Trade Unions in a dispute with the Lithuanian Police Department over the failure to properly inform and consult with the client; the case has now reached the Court of Appeal of Lithuania. The team is led by managing partner Tomas Bagdanskis with the assistance of Vilius Mačiulaitis and Mantas Mikalopas.
