Career

Antonio is partner of the Dispute Resolution, Debt Restructuring and Insolvency at Dias Carneiro Advogados with more than 15-year experience.

His expertise includes acting as counsel in court and arbitral proceedings related to commercial agreements, energy, construction, M&A, corporate and financing matters, credit recovery and restructuring/insolvency. Antonio also acts frequently at the conflict prevention stage, providing legal and business-oriented advice on complex contractual issues and chances of success in potential disputes, enhancing the client’s decision-making process on different possible courses of action. He advises clients in framing pre-litigation strategies for settlement negotiation or preparing for disputes, always aimed at solving problems in the most cost-effective way possible.

Antonio has been recognized as a future leader in Commercial Litigation by Who’s Who Legal, recommended in Restructuring and Insolvency by the Leaders League, and ranked in Legal 500 both in Litigation and in Restructuring and Insolvency. He was a visiting foreign lawyer in London between 2015 and 2016, focusing on international arbitration.
