Career

Johathan Sahli co-heads Bowmans’s Litigation Practice in South Africa.

He has helped banks, insurers, financial institutions, mining houses, pharmaceutical companies, medical schemes, construction companies, hotel groups, retailers, FMCG companies, IT companies and parastatals to resolve disputes.

He specialises in High Court litigation and private arbitration and is also a qualified mediator.

He has extensive experience in transactional disputes, contractual claims, mining-related litigation, insolvency and business rescue, and class action lawsuits.

He has worked on cross-border matters in Mozambique, Tanzania and Singapore.

Jonathan has BA and LLB degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is accredited by the Africa Centre for Dispute Settlement and the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution in the UK and completed the Leading Professional Services Firms Programme run by Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, UK.
