Miranda & Amado is ‘top notch, provides superb service delivery’ and ‘is super responsive and commercial’. Clients also appreciate the firm’s ‘excellent subject matter knowledge’ and ‘would not hesitate to recommend it’. Such high praise is largely targeted at head of practice Alberto Delgado and fellow partner Guillermo Bracamonte, who lead a team of six associates. The team’s client list includes sector stars Anglo American, Rio Tinto, Glencore-Xstrata and Las Bambas Mining Company, while recent instructions include advising Australia’s Red Citadel Resources on establishing operations in Peru. The firm also acted for Bear Creek Mining in its $522m rights dispute over the Santa Ana Project against the Peruvian State. Delgado assumed the position of co-managing partner of the firm in 2018.
