Career

Kevin heads DFDL’s Infrastructure Practice Group, while focusing primarily on renewable energy and traditional power and gas projects.

Kevin has practiced law for more than 25 years with more than 20 of those years as a foreign lawyer in Vietnam. As an accomplished U.S. lawyer, he advised numerous energy clients in the U.S. on international projects prior to his work in Vietnam.

As a Vietnam licensed foreign lawyer and DFDL Partner based in Ho Chi Minh City, Kevin continues to advise on a variety of matters including business formation, oil, gas and power, infrastructure and mining, trading and distribution, mergers and acquisitions, and property development.

In recent years, Kevin has advised extensively on both the development and acquisition of solar (ground-based and rooftop systems), and wind power (onshore and offshore) projects in Vietnam and regionally. In addition to solar and wind, Kevin also advises clients on other alternative energies, including LNG, biomass and waste energy, hydropower, hydrogen, and battery energy storage.

Kevin often speaks at conferences on issues related to property development, infrastructure, and energy-related projects.
