Sarah joined Prettys as Partner in October 2022, having previously worked for Birketts LLP, a top 50 law firm, where she was a Senior Associate in the Corporate / Commercial Team and where she was previously recommended by Legal 500.  Sarah’s career has spanned 16 years working for many different types of business – well known brands based in the region as well as entrepreneurs, family owned businesses, and franchises.

Sarah has developed significant experience in business acquisitions, disposals, mergers and re-organisations, with particular expertise in the motor industry and acting for family owned businesses.  In addition to the corporate work, Sarah can also be found providing regular commercial advice and undertaking contract negotiations for a range of multi-sized clients.  Since joining Prettys Sarah has been undertaking commercial work for the likes of, the DPO Centre, Godolphin Management Company Limited and Itsu Grocery.

Sarah also specialises in and has a particular interest in Franchising.  Sarah has acted for a range of Franchisors and Franchisees over the years from the initial set up of a Franchise, drafting and reviewing Franchise Agreements through to the sales / acquisitions of a Franchised Business.  Sarah will be developing the firm’s offering in this area.
