Dan was promoted to Partner in April 2022.  Dan is an ambitious individual who has risen swiftly up the ranks at Prettys since starting with the firm as a trainee in September 2010. Dan is recommended as a Next Generation Partner in the Legal 500 2024 edition.

Dan regularly leads on multi-million pound business sales/ acquisitions and works closely with a number of clients providing regular commercial advice to the likes of Clearsprings Ready Homes, the DPO Centre and Itsu Grocery.  Many of the contracts upon which Dan works on/ advises are of substantial value, sensitivity and importance to his clients and involve negotiations with lawyers and companies around the world.

In September 2022, he was recognised at the Insider Media Central and East Dealmakers Awards 2022 by being shortlisted for “Deal of the Year (below £10m)” for his work acting on the sale of John Catt Educational to Hachette UK.
