Andrew is a solicitor in the Real Estate team specialising in commercial property, in particular landlord and tenant matters.

Andrew deals with a wide range of matters relating to commercial property, including landlord and tenant matters, sales and acquisitions of commercial development sites, agreements for the sale and acquisition of residential development sites both by way of conditional contracts and options, secured lending work, voluntary land registrations, and property issues arising from corporate sales and acquisitions.

Andrew is able to draw on his past experience acting for a national retailer and national house builder. Andrew seeks to provide pragmatic advice and commercially focused solutions to problems that arise during transactions to enable clients to complete transactions.

Andrew is originally from High Legh near Knutsford and joined Aaron & Partners from national law firm Weightmans in March 2012.

Aaron & Partners LLP displays ‘stellar expertise across planning, environment and energy’ mandates. The team advised developer Bryn Blaen Wind Farm on a range of matters relating to the development of six large scale wind turbines in Powys, which included complex planning matters, and advised Rhoscrowther Wind Farm on an appeal against the Pembrokeshire County Council’s decision to refuse planning permission for a five turbine wind farm at Milford Haven. The team also acted for North Wales Tidal Energy & Coastal Protection on its proposed development of a tidal lagoon. Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, Hendy Wind Farm and Mynydd y Gwynt are also clients. David Harries is praised for his ‘strategic view and his sharp analysis of the risks and opportunities’ and heads the planning, environment, energy and regulatory practice. Corporate head Stuart Scott Goldstone, senior associates Keith McKinney, who is ‘brilliant’, Jamie Hawley and Andrew Lees are key members of the team, as is consultant Richard Forrester, who specialises in mines, minerals and waste planning matters.
