Career

Niloofar advises clients on corporate and contract matters and represents them in their arbitration and litigation disputes.

She has been actively involved in representing clients in disputes arising out of sale and distribution agreements, and advising companies on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, market entry and foreign investment. She has gained considerable experience in drafting and negotiating investment agreements, shareholder agreements and various finance documents including sukuk, convertible loans and guarantees. 

Prior to joining the firm, she was an associate at the Paris-based firm of August Debouzy, where she advised clients on issues related to their business in Iran, regulatory matters, foreign investment, local entity establishment and renewable energy projects. Prior to that, Niloofar worked at a local law firm where she was mostly involved in assisting clients on franchising.

Education

Niloofar received her bachelor of laws degree from Beheshti University, where she graduated among the top students, and in 2018 completed her masters of law degree there in international commercial law, focusing on foreign investment in financial institutions in Iran.
