Career
Wouter has an extensive experience in matters relating to corporate law, commercial law, banking and finance law and real estate law. Wouter disposes of a wide experience in various industry sectors (banking, commercial). He is also active in the public sector.
Wouter is specialized in the field of corporate law and mergers (both domestic and cross-border) and acquisitions
Wouter regularly provides legal advice in relation to reorganizations and acquisitions (M&A) (commercial transactions and real estate), and conducts and supervises due diligences. He draws up all kinds of documents and contracts and renders advice in the fields of company law, banking and financial law, commercial law and real estate law
Moreover, Wouter, is co-head of the Belgian Global Japanese Practice (GJP) country desk within KPMG/KPMG Law and is a member of the EMA GJP steering committee. Wouter manages an extensive portfolio of Japanese clients and is focused on Japanese companies and the Belgian Japanese community. KPMG Law is proud to be a year long member of the Belgian Japanese Association.
Finally, Wouter has published several articles in legal periodicals. He gives presentations and courses in his areas of law (Ehsal, Fhs Kluwer, client seminars, ….).
