Eran’s practice spans a wide range of complex commercial disputes, including all aspects of administrative law commercial real estate, contractual, corporate and competition law. He has appeared before the entire range of Israeli courts and arbitration tribunals and has considerable experience in multi-party litigation, class actions and contentious competition law related issues.
Eran has particular expertise in the field of complex tenders and government procurement projects, advising on major, multi-million dollar public and private tenders of every description. His clients include bidders (including special purpose bid vehicles formed by local and global project partners) as well as government authorities and government companies. He has extensive experience advising clients on procurement strategies, providing clients ongoing counsel throughout the complex tender process, including aspects of financing, project management and, where necessary, representing clients when tender-related disputes arise.
Eran has advised on a large number of groundbreaking BOT, PFI and PPP national infrastructure and construction projects in Israel, including: the high-speed railway tunnel to Jerusalem; the Fast Lane project on Highway 1; the extension to the Cross-Israel Highway, the first and longest toll road in Israel; and the new military schools and barracks for the Israel Defence Forces in Southern Israel. His government procurement practice also includes advising on tenders for the purchase of services and equipment from diverse sectors, including the pharmaceutical, technological, financial, infrastructure and construction sectors.
The Marker, Israel’s leading financial online and print magazine, included Eran in 2014 in their shortlist of the “40 Most Promising People Under the Age of 40”.
In 2020, Eran was singled out by The Legal 500 as a leading partner ( “very professional and brilliant litigator”), in the field of dispute resolution: local litigation and arbitration.
In addition, Eran regularly lectures on behalf of the Israel Bar Association on issues related to administrative law and tenders before various universities, companies and organisations that wish to train or educate their employees in these fields.
