Career

Bartłomiej specialises in litigation and arbitration. He has significant experience in construction and infrastructure disputes and acts regularly on matters relating to energy, transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure, as well as in corporate and commercial contract disputes. Equipped with deep understanding of the industry, Bartłomiej also assists infrastructure clients in non-contentious matters, including advising on nuances and complexities in preparing, structuring and implementing infrastructure projects. He acted in a number of high profile disputes before Polish common courts as well as Polish and international arbitration courts.

Bartłomiej graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He completed a course in English and European law organized by the Centre for the Study of English and European Law at the University of Warsaw as well as a course of English law at the College of Law, London.

WKB Wiercinski, Kwiecinski, Baehr's team is noted for its 'great commitment' and its 'creative problem solving', particularly in relation to its speciality, construction and infrastructure-related disputes. Bartłomiej Jankowski is representing a number of banks and wind farms, including DNB Bank Polska and Livingstone, in proceedings instituted by state-owned company Energa-Obrót attempting to annul long-term agreements for the sale of green certificates; a case which was decided in the clients' favour at the first instance. Tomasz Kwieciński, Jordan Zafirow and Natalia Kabacińska are also key names.
