Career
Jamie is a Partner who leads our Restructuring and Insolvency practice. He acts for insolvency practitioners, secured and unsecured creditors, companies, shareholders and directors in all aspects of restructuring and insolvency, including; examinerships, Part 9 schemes of arrangements, receiverships, liquidations, SCARPs and bankruptcies.
Jamie also represents domestic and foreign banks as well as non-bank lenders in relation to their security enforcement and distressed asset recovery actions. He has extensive experience in complex litigation before the superior courts arising from those restructuring or insolvency mandates.
Jamie lectures on corporate restructurings in the Law Society of Ireland’s Professional Practice course. He has contributed to a number of publications, including co-authoring the Irish chapter of the Asset Tracing and Recovery Review and the Irish chapter of the Lexology, Restructuring & Insolvency GTDT guide 2023. Jamie is consistently endorsed and ranked as a leading individual in his field in the current editions of Chambers Europe, IFLR 1000 and Legal 500.
