Career

Steen Jensen specialises in stock exchange law and capital market transactions.

Steen advises Danish and international listed companies and financial enterprises on stock exchange law, capital market transactions and regulatory issues pertaining to financial enterprises, company law matters and financing. His legal advisory services include listings, IPOs, secondary offerings, rights issues and direct placements as well as mergers of listed companies. He also advises on takeover bids, redemption and delisting.

In addition, Steen advises financial enterprises on various issues relating to the Danish Financial Business Act, on transfers and on investment products.

Extensive international experience based on a degree from the University of London and an extended stay with a London law firm as well as large transactions at the stock exchange and capital markets have made Steen a popular adviser with Danish as well as foreign clients. Over the years this has also won him prestigious recognition from most international law firm rating agencies.

Steen’s Bech-Bruun career took off in 1987, and as such he has been part of the firm’s development up until the present day. For several years he has been the deputy chairman of Bech-Bruun’s executive committee.
