HR Excellence Awards winners announced at Gala dinner-

The winners of the fifth annual Human Resources Excellence Awards - conducted by Human Resources magazine in conjunction with KPMG Consulting - were announced last night. The Awards - presented at a Gala Dinner, held at the Grosvenor House in London - rewarded the 'HR elite' of the New Economy for their work and progress in the field of human resources.

At the HR Excellence Awards Dinner, Mark Spears, partner at KPMG Consulting, commented: "In the New Economy, the key to success is the ability to respond quickly and accurately to change, while also keeping track of competitors' activities and predicting future trends. The winners here tonight have shown how to translate this theory into an achievable reality.
