80% der Unternehmen in der Metallindustrie haben weniger als 50 Beschäftigte. Die KMU in dieser Branche müssen sich also an die Arbeit machen, um die für den 1. Januar 2024 vorgesehene Einführung der neuen Maßnahmen, die im einheitlichen nationalen Tarifvertrag für die Metallindustrie vorgesehen sind, umzusetzen.

Am 7. Februar 2022, nach mehr als fünfjährigen Verhandlungen, unterzeichneten die UIMM und die drei repräsentativen Gewerkschaften CFDT, CFE-CGC und FO den neuen Text, dessen erklärtes Ziel ist, sich an die neuen Herausforderungen des Sektors anzupassen und vor allem alle Bestimmungen zu harmonisieren, die bislang je nach Region und/oder Berufsstand unterschiedlich waren.
