Foi publicada no Diário da Justiça eletrônico de 1º de julho de 2026, com vigência imediata, a Emenda Regimental n.º 53, de 30 de junho de 2026, que altera o Regimento Interno (RISTJ) do Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ) em pontos de grande relevância prática, referentes às seguintes questões: (i) resumo obrigatório nas petições iniciais e recursos dirigidos ao STJ; (ii) procedimento para julgamento virtual; (iii) procedimento dos recursos repetitivos; (iv) competência para agravos internos contra decisões da Presidência; (v) competências das Seções e das Turmas; e (vi) prevenção e julgamento em matéria criminal.
