Insurance for schools: are your school directors exposed?

Without separate Personal Accident cover in place for your School Directors, they are left at risk.

WHAT'S THE RISK?

Under Queensland WorkCover legislation (the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003), persons who perform work under a contract of service as a School Director are excluded from being able to claim for Workers' Compensation.

Without separate Personal Accident cover in place for your School Directors, they are left at risk whilst performing duties for your organisation.

WHAT'S THE SOLUTION?

The Queensland School Directors Group Personal Accident Insurance Facility was developed by global insurance broker Willis, specifically to bridge this gap.

It provides Personal Accident cover for Executive and Non-Executive Directors of Queensland schools, whilst engaged on the business of your organisation, including direct travel to and from such business.
