Position

Kelly continues to represent all parties in public law proceedings and has experience of cases involving allegations of serious domestic violence, non-accidental injuries, emotional harm, neglect, and sexual abuse including rape. Kelly also has a significant private law practice dealing with a wide range of cases from straightforward contact disputes to cases involving allegations of violence, abuse or manipulation. Kelly has dealt with cases with both international and religious elements including applications to remove from the jurisdiction, child abduction and Hague Convention proceedings, as well as parental disputes over religious upbringing. Kelly recognizes the stresses of litigation for the parties involved and has a particular skill for putting clients at ease in difficult and emotional situations.
