Position

Robert studied Law at Oxford University and The University of Paris, Panthéon-Assas. While at Oxford, he won a number of scholarships and a prize for the best performance in Tort Law. Following this, he undertook a Master’s degree in Comparative Private Law at the University of Edinburgh, where his research essay examined constructive trusts in multiple common law jurisdictions.

Robert joined Chambers following the successful completion of his pupillage in February 2020. He accepts instructions in all of Chambers’ civil practice areas and has a particular interest in Contractual Disputes, Probate, Personal Injury and Landlord and Tenant.

Robert represents claimants and defendants in fast track and small claims hearings. He has recently appeared in cases involving: fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of contract, credit hire, road traffic accidents, possession proceedings and various applications under the Civil Procedure Rules.

Robert has also undertaken drafting and advisory work for clients in practice areas such as Construction Law, Property law, Landlord and Tenant and Commercial Chancery. He regularly drafts statements of case on behalf of claimants and defendants across all of his practice areas.

He is able to accept work under the Direct Access Scheme.
