Position

Prior to being called to the Bar, Ranald qualified and worked as a junior doctor in Scotland. His practice since becoming a barrister focuses principally on clinical negligence (claimant and defendant) and medical and dental disciplinary work. Ranald also has considerable experience in inquest law and has been involved in a number of sports injury claims. He has successfully represented parties seeking injunctive relief under the prevention from Harassment Act 1997.

Career

Called 1996; Inner Temple. Ranald is a consultant editor (formerly a contributing editor) of the Medical Law Reports and is involved in the production of the Sports Law Edition of the Atkins Court Forms.
