Position

Christian Azoulay is a senior associate in Dentons’ banking and finance practice in Luxembourg.

Christian has a strong experience advising international and local clients on transactional and regulatory matters, including structured finance, capital markets and derivatives and financial regulatory.

Christian’s structured finance experience includes advising on performing and non-performing loans securitisation, CLOs/CDOs securitisation, EU securitisation. In addition, Christian advises on securitisation-related matters, including the setting-up of Luxembourg securitisation vehicles, license application with the CSSF, notification requirements under the EU Securitisation Regulation and compliance with the NPL Directive.

He also has substantial experience in advising clients on capital markets and derivatives, including listing of bonds (programmes and series) on regulated and unregulated markets, tender offer, private placement, GMRA/GMSLA transactions, netting clauses, ISDA agreements, total return swaps and depositary receipt.

Christian’s financial regulatory experience includes advising clients on their terms and conditions, the outsourcing of services, dynamic currency conversion, banking secrecy, CRR, European passport and DORA.
