Intellectual Property

Lucía Aguerre is a Senior Associate and head of the Intellectual Property Department at Dentons Jiménez de Aréchaga (Montevideo).

She is also a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, with a practice focused on intellectual property, trade secrets, unfair competition, and complex commercial and civil litigation.

She has extensive experience advising technology companies, multinationals, and startups on the protection of intangible assets, software licensing, and the defense of intellectual property rights in both judicial and administrative proceedings.

He holds an LL.M. in Legal Sciences from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), specializing in intellectual property and trade secrets, and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Industrial Property, Intellectual Property, Competition, and New Technologies at ISDE (Madrid).
