Mohammad Adaileh

Mohammad Adaileh is a member of the Corporate and Commercial practice in Dentons' Amman office. He provides valuable support assisting the Corporate team with business transactions, including financing and energy transactions. His main roles include preparing, drafting and reviewing contracts, translating documents and conducting legal research on relevant matters. Mohammad has completed his Bachelors of Law at Swansea University, and holds an LPC from BPP Law School.

Tania Afrin is a senior associate in the Real Estate practice in Dentons' Dubai office and has more than six years of experience advising on a wide variety of matters, including project development, commercial property and real estate finance transactions. Tania specializes in project development and has acted for a number of residential and commercial developers, including numerous housing associations in the UK. She has dealt with all aspects of acquisitions, project development and disposals, and has advised on a vast range of matters, including development agreements, agreements for sale and lease, option agreements, transfer, commercial leases and legal charges.

Lucía Aguerre is a Senior Associate and head of the Intellectual Property Department at Dentons Jiménez de Aréchaga (Montevideo).

Jood Al Aamri is an associate in the Dispute Resolution team in Yaqdhan Al Busaidi Law Firm in association with Dentons’ Muscat office. She has four years of experience working as a paralegal and a trainee in the Corporate and Dispute Resolution practice before qualifying in October 2023. She is qualified to appear before the primary courts of Oman and has experience advising clients on corporate, employment and litigation matters. Her experience spans a range of different sectors including utilities and insurance. Jood is bilingual and has the ability to draft and negotiate in English and Arabic.

Nada Al Amri is an associate in Dentons' Muscat office. Nada works within the Energy practice and has advised on a broad range of projects in the oil and gas, renewable energy, construction, electricity and water sectors. She has assisted with reviewing exploration and production sharing agreements, power purchasing agreements, sale and purchase agreements, and water and electricity licenses. Nada has also been involved with preparing documents for a client bidding for a green hydrogen project in Oman. Nada is bilingual and has the ability to draft and negotiate in Arabic and English.

Malaak Al Balushi

Malaak Al Balushi is an associate in the Tier One ranked corporate practice in Dentons' Muscat office. She has experience working on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including advising international and local clients on mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, corporate governance, company establishments, employment and other general corporate and commercial advisory matters. Her experience spans a range of different sectors including government, real estate and employment, and she is licensed to appear before all primary courts in Oman. Abdullah Al Busaidi

Abdullah Al Busaidi is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Dentons' Muscat office. He has experience working on a wide range of litigation dispute resolution matters including advising clients on high-value commercial disputes, employment and litigation matters and is licensed to appear before all primary courts in Oman. His experience is across a range of different sectors including governments and private companies, Abdullah has delivered pro bono work with Outward Bound Oman and Oman Rugby Club. Abdullah is bilingual and has the ability to draft and negotiate in Arabic and English.

Bader Al Khawaldeh

Bader Al Khawaldeh is a lawyer in the Dispute Resolution practice of the Dentons Jordan office. He started his legal career as a legal assistant with Dentons back in 2018. Having qualified with the Jordan Bar Association in 2016, Bader has since worked on a range of dispute resolution matters, leading on a variety of subject matter cases including advising clients on injury claims, employment and labor, financial compensation claims, customs claims, tax claims and others. Bader has experience representing both local and international clients before different court levels within the Kingdom. His experience spans a range of different sectors including TMT, labor and employment, tax and customs. Bader also plays a key role supporting the Corporate practice within the Jordan office, facilitating governmental visits and filings.

Wafa Al Shuaibi

Wafa Al Shuaibi is a senior associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Dentons' Muscat office. She has over 10 years' experience working on a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution matters including advising clients on disputes, arbitrations and commercial matters as well as being qualified to appear before the primary and appeal courts of Oman. Her experience is across a range of different sectors including governments, financial institutions, construction, and telecoms. Wafa has delivered a pro bono work with Outward Bound Oman. Wafa is bilingual and has the ability to draft and negotiate in Arabic and English.

Mohammed Al Shuaili

Mohammed is an Associate in the Litigation and the Dispute Resolution team based in Muscat. He joined Dentons in February 2019 and has more than 10 years experience advising local and international clients on various matters. He is licensed to appear before the Primary and Appeal Courts of the Sultanate of Oman and has extensive experience handling complex disputes before Courts and Arbitral Panels in different practice areas.

Lamia is a senior associate in Dentons' Dubai office. She is a member of the Corporate practice group. Lamia has experience advising in relation to a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, business and owner succession planning, joint ventures and group reorganizations. She has worked on both domestic and cross-border transactions and regularly works with a range of clients, including multinational corporations and investors.

Malek Al-Rabadi

Malek Al-Rabadi is an associate in the Dispute Resolution practice of the Dentons Jordan office. He started his legal career as a trainee lawyer with Dentons in 2020 and has since qualified in 2024. Malek has worked on a range of dispute resolution matters including advising clients on employment and labor claims, medical liability and compensation claims, customs claims, tax claims and other financial claims. He has also been assisting the team with coordination of arbitration cases. Malek has experience representing both local and international clients before the courts in Amman and elsewhere in the Kingdom. His experience spans a range of different sectors, including telecommunication, labor and employment, tax and customs. Malek has also gained valuable experience during his years with Dentons on corporate and commercial matters, especially in relation to corporate governance and work with various governmental authorities. He has been assisting the Corporate practice within the Amman office on a variety of corporate filings, facilitations and instructions.

Mohammed Aldrees

Mohammed Hamad Aldrees is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Dentons' Riyadh office. He has six years of experience working with the Saudi Royal Court on a wide range of matters including providing legal consultation across multiple areas of law and reviewing and revising initial drafts of new statutes, regulations and frameworks prior to submission to the Council of Ministers. Mohammed has also drafted Royal Orders, High Orders and various legal instruments for the Royal Court and contributed to the decision-making process at the Royal Court by conducting in-depth legal research and analysis. Mohammed is bilingual in Arabic and English.

Afaf Aljohani is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Dentons' Riyadh office. She has experience working on a wide range of legal and policy matters, including advising clients on legislative drafting and regulatory impact assessment. Her experience is focused within the government sector, where she has worked across various areas of law. Afaf is bilingual in Arabic and English.

Mohammed AlMajed

Mohammed is an associate in Dentons Saudi Arabia practice. He specializes in Shari'ah as practised in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has extensive experience with dispute resolutions representing several local and multinational high-profile clients in different disputes before various Saudi Arabian courts and dispute resolution tribunals including the Criminal Courts, Commercial Courts, and Labour Courts. Mohamed led many successful high value settlement negotiations in addition to his impressive track record in litigating before different courts.

Abdulaziz Almousa

Abdulaziz Almousa is an associate in Dentons' Riyadh office, specializing in corporate and capital markets law. A graduate of Prince Sultan University, Abdulaziz brings more than three years of hands-on legal experience within the Saudi Arabian market. He has a proven track record advising both international and local corporations on their organizational structures, as well as a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial transactions, capital markets matters and regulatory compliance. His expertise extends to conducting in-depth research on evolving Saudi laws and regulations, ensuring clients receive solutions that are both current and compliant. Abdulaziz is bilingual and has the ability to draft and negotiate in Arabic and English.

Rana Azhar is an associate in the Corporate and Commercial practice in Dentons' Jeddah office. She advises clients on broad-based corporate matters such as M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side), joint venture agreements, restructuring and regulatory matters across a wide range of sectors. Rana has particular expertise in corporate and commercial law, including drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on governance and supporting various transactions. Her experience also includes advising governmental entities on regulatory analyses and providing guidance on public sector engagements and policymaking. Additionally, she assists with IPO assessments, ensuring compliance with Capital Market Authority's regulations, and manages employment matters such as employer/employee relations, labor law compliance and the drafting of employment policies. Rana is a Saudi National and has the ability to draft and negotiate in both Arabic and English.

Lauren Bell is an associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice. She has more than seven years’ experience, working as a paralegal before qualifying as a solicitor in 2022. Lauren has experience working on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering, energy and commercial litigation matters. Lauren's contentious experience includes representing clients in major disputes under a range of arbitration rules including the ICC, QICCA, DIAC and LCIA rules. She also has experience in mediation and expert determination. Lauren assists clients in high-value and complex arbitrations covering matters such as defective design and/or workmanship, delay and disruption, variations, loss and expense, payment disputes, debt claims and contract interpretation. Lauren's non-contentious experience includes providing legal advice on high-value complex projects across a range of different sectors including rail, major projects, infrastructure and development in Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Africa. She has vast experience of drafting and negotiating FIDIC contracts and bespoke contracts. Lauren has experience in all phases of the construction project life cycle, including advising several large developers in the Middle East on the application and impact of existing laws and regulations on new developments and in relation to export finance for large projects in Africa.

Gargi Bohra is an associate in the Corporate and Commercial practice in Dentons' Abu Dhabi office. Her practice is focused on the buy-side and sell-side of domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity investments, joint ventures and corporate reorganizations, and conducting acquirer and company-led due diligence investigations. Gargi has represented investors, public-listed companies and financial advisors in corporate transactions and securities matters, and also issuers and other stakeholders in initial public offerings on stock exchanges.

Christopher Brennan

Chris is a partner in Dentons’ Dubai office. He is a member of the Disputes division. Chris has more than 20 years’ experience in helping clients to solve regulatory problems and manage difficult interactions with regulators and law enforcement. His practice is focused on financial markets where he acts for both institutions and individuals. He is experienced in all aspects of regulatory enforcement and interventions in both retail and wholesale markets. Chris also regularly advises listed entities on issues related to inside information and market disclosures. Chris advises clients on the management of both internal and external investigations of alleged misconduct. He also advises on customer and counterparty disputes where there is a regulatory angle to the dispute. Chris also uses his experience as a former criminal barrister to assist clients facing criminal investigation or prosecution.

Ahmed Butt is a partner in the Middle East Banking and Finance practice. He leads Dentons’ Banking Regulation and Financial Institutions Regulatory practice in the Middle East and also has banking transactional expertise. He has more than 20 years of experience advising on regulatory matters in the financial services sector, including new market entry licensing applications and upgrades, innovative product regulatory analysis (including fintech), cross-border promotion, regulatory investigations and legislative enhancement projects. In addition, Ahmed has a wealth of experience as lead counsel on banking and finance transactions (including conventional and Islamic finance) and structuring banking products. Ahmed focuses primarily on the Saudi Arabia, mainland UAE, DIFC, ADGM and Qatar markets. He is recognized in Legal 500 for Financial Services Regulation (UAE) and has been ranked in Legal 500 (2015-2023) as a Leading Partner for Banking and Finance (Saudi Arabia).

Jennifer Davis is a senior associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice in Dentons' Doha office. She has more than six years of experience working on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious construction and projects matters, including advising clients on high-value complex projects in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the UK. Her experience spans a range of different sectors, including renewable and low-carbon energy (new nuclear, offshore and onshore wind, solar and battery storage, and biomass projects), highways and transportation, and commercial and real estate development. Jennifer has considerable experience in providing advice on major projects throughout the project lifecycle, including on project structure, procurement strategy, contract strategy, operation and maintenance, and dispute avoidance. She has particular experience in advising on complex EPC, O&M and supply agreements, as well as traditional construction and design-and-build procurements, including detailed knowledge of FIDIC, NEC3/4, JCT and IChemE suites of contracts. Jennifer also has a range of experience in acting for clients on contentious matters, including project counsel advice, international arbitration, mediation, UK High Court litigation and construction adjudication. Prior to joining Dentons, Jennifer spent three years working at an international firm in the UK as a Projects and Construction specialist, which included client secondments to a European offshore wind contractor, a global renewables developer and a major UK building contractor. She also spent two years working in-house at a global energy company, advising on the first-in-a-generation new nuclear project. Jennifer trained at a Tier 1 UK firm, qualifying into its Construction & Engineering team in 2018.

Matthias De Cock

Arif Doha is an associate in the Banking and Finance practice in Dentons' Dubai office. His work involves advising clients (both local and international financiers and borrowers) on a wide range of banking and finance matters including acquisition finance, corporate finance, Islamic finance, project finance, real estate finance, and general banking and finance matters. Arif has experience working on banking and finance matters in both London and Dubai. Before joining the Firm, Arif worked for an international law firm in London, where he also advised on corporate, restructuring and insolvency, real estate and commercial contract matters. Before entering private practice, Arif worked in-house for a multinational technology conglomerate, a venture-backed fintech company, a financial services company and a publishing company.

Rory is an Associate in Dentons' Abu Dhabi office. He is a member of the Banking and Finance practice group. Rory's focus is on general institutional lending with experience across real estate and corporate lending, as well as simple restructuring. He also benefits from practical in-house experience having trained with the Legal, Governance and Regulatory Affairs function at a major UK clearing bank.

Gabriel El Jobaili

Gabriel El Jobaili is an associate in Dentons' Corporate and Commercial practice, based in our Jeddah office. He has more than nine years of experience in the legal field, working in the areas of corporate and commercial law. Gabriel advises national and multinational firms, strategic buyers and sellers, and corporations on a variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side), investment structuring, divestitures, joint ventures and other complex corporate transactions. His corporate experience is varied and includes executing multiple structuring and restructurings for companies and groups of companies, incorporating onshore and offshore entities, optimizing commercial and corporate structure, and governance for clients. Gabriel regularly drafts and reviews a wide range of contracts and agreements across various sectors, while also performing due diligence for both national and multinational companies. Gabriel is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Najeeb Gill is an associate in the Banking and Finance practice in Dentons' Abu Dhabi office. He has experience working on a wide range of international finance matters, including advising lenders and borrowers on acquisition finance, asset finance, general corporate lending, real estate finance and fund finance. He is also experienced in general corporate, investment funds and commercial real estate transactions. Najeeb completed his training contract with Dentons in the Glasgow and Edinburgh offices before qualifying in August 2022.

Nisha is an associate in Dentons' Abu Dhabi office and a member of the Projects practice. She has experience advising sponsors, lenders and developers on the structuring, development and financing of major energy, infrastructure and transport projects across the Middle East. Her practice covers a broad range of sectors, including renewable and conventional energy (solar, wind, waste-to-energy and cogeneration), district cooling, waste treatment, oil and gas, and social infrastructure.

Bayan Jafari-Eshaiker

Bayan Jafari-Eshaiker is an associate in Dentons’ Dubai office. She is a member of the Banking and Finance practice. Her work involves advising clients on a wide range of banking matters, including corporate financing, acquisition financing, real estate financing, and general banking and finance. Bayan has experience working in both London and Dubai. Prior to joining Dentons, she was part of the Energy and Project Finance team that advised on the acquisition and financing of the offshore transmission assets relating to the Hornsea One offshore windfarm. Bayan has also worked on various restructuring and large insolvency matters in the UK, and on several corporate restructurings in the UAE for international and local clients.

Alya Khair is an associate in the Corporate and Commercial practice in Dentons' Dubai office. Her practice focuses on corporate restructurings, acquisitions, corporate governance and compliance matters in the United Arab Emirates and wider Middle East.

Aneela Ahmad Khan is an English-qualified associate in the Tier 1 Banking and Finance practice at Dentons Muscat. She advises financial institutions, multinational corporations and government entities on a broad range of banking and finance matters, including conventional and Islamic finance, debt capital markets, project finance, asset-based lending and structured finance. Aneela also has significant experience in corporate restructurings and turnaround strategies, assisting clients in navigating complex financial challenges to optimise their capital structures. She collaborates closely with Dentons' senior leadership on the firm's market-leading Islamic Finance offering, working with Shari'a scholars and supervisory boards to structure innovative and compliant solutions. Additionally, Aneela has advised clients on green and sustainability-linked loans, assisting them in structuring financing arrangements that align with their environmental objectives and sustainability targets.

Shahzaib Khan is a senior associate in the Corporate and Commercial practice in Dentons' Riyadh office. He has nine years of experience working on a wide range of matters including mergers and acquisitions (both buy-side and sell-side), legal entity rationalizations, joint ventures, government projects and complex multijurisdictional transactions. His experience spans a range of sectors including oil and gas, hospitality, aviation, government, data centers, automotive, and information technology and telecommunications. Shahzaib also advises a wide array of international clients on compliance with Saudi laws, doing business in Saudi Arabia and the establishment of their presence in Saudi Arabia. In addition to KSA, he has advised clients in the UAE on various acquisitions (both buy-side and sell-side). Shahzaib is trilingual in English, Hindi and Urdu.

Kahroba Kojouri

Kahroba Kojouri is an associate in Dentons' Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice in Dubai, specializing in privacy, cybersecurity and AI. She advises clients from a wide range of sectors, including technology, financial services, retail, automotive and healthcare, and across various jurisdictions, such as the EU, UK, UAE and KSA, on data protection governance, global data transfers, data localization requirements, data processor engagement and data incident responses to cybersecurity breaches. She also advises clients on the implementation of AI governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and management of AI risks.

Kristína Kresťanková

Kristína Kresťanková is a junior associate and a member of the Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Criminal law Practice in Dentons Bratislava office. She focuses her practice on dispute resolution, criminal law and constitutional law. Kristína has experience with representing clients in various fields of litigation and with representing clients before the Constitutional Court. In addition, she has experience with providing legal assistance to clients in relation to competition law, life sciences law and insolvency law.

Kislay is an associate in the Corporate practice in Dentons' Dubai office. Kislay's practice focuses on corporate restructurings, acquisitions, corporate governance and compliance matters in the United Arab Emirates. He also helps numerous clients from across the globe set up their business operations in the UAE, both onshore and in many of the UAE’s free zones. He has experience advising international and regional clients on the legal and regulatory regime requirements and labour and employment matters.

Melissa Mallon is an associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice. Melissa has experience working on a range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, including assisting clients with negotiating and drafting contracts, as well as advising clients on claims relating to defective design and/or workmanship, delay and disruption, loss and expense, payment disputes, service level performance obligations and contract interpretation. Her experience spans a range of different sectors including construction, infrastructure and utilities. Melissa has represented clients under all the major arbitration rules including the DIFC-LCIA, DIAC and UNCITRAL, and ad hoc arbitrations. Prior to joining Dentons, Melissa worked as a paralegal at a regional law firm in Dubai where she gained valuable legal skills and knowledge in both construction and infrastructure, and international arbitration practices.

Darell Pang is an associate in the Projects practice in Dentons' Abu Dhabi office. He advises sponsors and lenders on the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects across the Middle East, which include (but are not limited to) renewables, conventional energy and district cooling projects. Aside from his project finance experience, Darell also has experience in advising lenders on general banking and finance transactions. Darell worked with an international law firm in Singapore prior to joining Dentons.

Ramy Ramadan is a partner in the Corporate practice, based in the UAE. He has significant experience advising international and regional clients, including corporates, financial sponsors, and sovereign-related entities, on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and other strategic investment transactions, as well as a broad range of other corporate matters. His practice spans a wide range of sectors, with particular depth in energy and infrastructure (including the fast-growing data centers sector), technology, life sciences and consumer goods. He also regularly advises on joint ventures and corporate structuring for project-financed assets and PPP projects. Ramy is recommended by Legal 500 for Commercial, Corporate, and M&A in the UAE and has advised on many landmark and award-winning transactions and projects in the MENA region, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Henry Rees is an associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice. He has more than eight years’ experience with Dentons, working as a paralegal before training in our Doha, Abu Dhabi and London offices and then qualifying as a solicitor in 2021. Henry has experience working on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering, energy and commercial litigation matters. His contentious experience includes representing clients under major arbitration rules including the ICC, QICCA, DIAC and LCIA rules, as well as mediation and expert determination. Henry assists clients in high-value and complex arbitrations relating to defective design and/or workmanship, delay and disruption, variations, loss and expense, payment disputes, debt claims and contract interpretation. He also represents clients in relation to Qatar court and QFC court litigation. Henry also has experience in all phases of the construction project life cycle including the initial planning stages of a project. He has assisted several large developers in the Middle East, advising on the application and impact of existing laws and regulations on new developments. Henry also has experience of drafting and negotiating FIDIC Red Book, Yellow Book and Green Book contracts.

Elen Roberts is a senior associate based in Dentons' Abu Dhabi office and is a member of the Projects practice. She has more than five years of broad experience representing sponsors, lenders, contractors and operators on all aspects of developing major energy, infrastructure and transport projects, including in the Middle East, Africa and other emerging markets. She is experienced in working on PPP/PFI projects as well as on commercial construction transactions. Elen is fluent in French and German and has experience drafting in French.

Nick Simpson is a partner and the regional head of corporate, and hospitality and leisure for Dentons Middle East. He is based in Dentons' Dubai office and was previously the managing partner of the Firm's Saudi Arabia and Oman offices. Nick has more than 25 years of experience advising on corporate and commercial transactions through the full range of sectors in the MENA region, including company establishment, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and company flotations and offerings. He also advises extensively on all areas of hospitality, leisure and real estate across the Middle East. Nick is recognized for his expertise in Chambers & Partners where he is regarded as "an exceptional partner." Ben Suthers is a senior associate in the Banking and Finance practice based in Dentons' Dubai office. His work involves advising clients on a wide range of banking matters, including infrastructure finance, project bonds and structured finance. He has advised a range of infrastructure funds, institutional investors, sponsors, shareholders and financial institutions.

Victoria Wyer s a Partner in Dentons' Capital Markets practice with experience on a wide range of international debt capital markets transactions. Victoria's focus includes advising underwriters and issuers (corporates and financial institutions) in connection with various capital markets products, including regulatory capital, listed eurobonds, EMTN and ECP programme establishments/updates and drawdowns. Victoria has particular experience in advising on liability management transactions, including cash tenders, exchange offers, consent solicitations and negative consents. She also has experience in relation to both investment grade and emerging market transactions as well as sovereign and supranational bond offerings and convertible and exchangeable bonds. Victoria has been ranked as "One to Watch" for Capital Markets Law in the Best Lawyers 2024 Edition and as a Next Generation Partner in Debt Capital Markets by Legal 500 for 2024. Hamad Yasin is an associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice. He has experience working on a range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, including assisting clients with arbitrations under the DIAC rules with negotiating and drafting FIDIC-based contracts for procurement projects and client-specific development projects. His experience spans a range of different sectors including construction and energy. Before qualifying, Hamad worked with the Corporate Commercial and Banking & Finance practices where he gained valuable experience assisting with M&A due diligence, commercial legal advice and liaising with various local authorities on an Emirate level as well as UAE federal level regarding a variety of commercial matters. Hamad was also involved in assisting complex Islamic finance and sukuk issuance deals with the Banking and Debt Capital Markets teams. Hamad is bilingual and has the ability to draft and negotiate in Arabic and English.

Patrick Yeo is an associate in the Banking and Finance practice in Dentons' Abu Dhabi office. He has experience working on a wide range of international finance matters, including advising lenders and borrowers on acquisition finance, asset finance, general corporate lending, real estate finance and fund finance. He is also experienced in general corporate, investment funds and commercial real estate transactions. Patrick has a particular interest and specialty in project finance transactions.
