Bader Al Khawaldeh is a lawyer in the Dispute Resolution practice of the Dentons Jordan office. He started his legal career as a legal assistant with Dentons back in 2018. Having qualified with the Jordan Bar Association in 2016, Bader has since worked on a range of dispute resolution matters, leading on a variety of subject matter cases including advising clients on injury claims, employment and labor, financial compensation claims, customs claims, tax claims and others. Bader has experience representing both local and international clients before different court levels within the Kingdom. His experience spans a range of different sectors including TMT, labor and employment, tax and customs. Bader also plays a key role supporting the Corporate practice within the Jordan office, facilitating governmental visits and filings.

Malek Al-Rabadi is an associate in the Dispute Resolution practice of the Dentons Jordan office. He started his legal career as a trainee lawyer with Dentons in 2020 and has since qualified in 2024. Malek has worked on a range of dispute resolution matters including advising clients on employment and labor claims, medical liability and compensation claims, customs claims, tax claims and other financial claims. He has also been assisting the team with coordination of arbitration cases. Malek has experience representing both local and international clients before the courts in Amman and elsewhere in the Kingdom. His experience spans a range of different sectors, including telecommunication, labor and employment, tax and customs. Malek has also gained valuable experience during his years with Dentons on corporate and commercial matters, especially in relation to corporate governance and work with various governmental authorities. He has six years of experience working with the Saudi Royal Court on a wide range of matters including providing legal consultation across multiple areas of law and reviewing and revising initial drafts of new statutes, regulations and frameworks prior to submission to the Council of Ministers. Mohammed has also drafted Royal Orders, High Orders and various legal instruments for the Royal Court and contributed to the decision-making process at the Royal Court by conducting in-depth legal research and analysis. Lauren Bell is an associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice. She has more than seven years’ experience, working as a paralegal before qualifying as a solicitor in 2022. Lauren has experience working on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering, energy and commercial litigation matters. Lauren's contentious experience includes representing clients in major disputes under a range of arbitration rules including the ICC, QICCA, DIAC and LCIA rules. She also has experience in mediation and expert determination. Lauren assists clients in high-value and complex arbitrations covering matters such as defective design and/or workmanship, delay and disruption, variations, loss and expense, payment disputes, debt claims and contract interpretation. Lauren's non-contentious experience includes providing legal advice on high-value complex projects across a range of different sectors including rail, major projects, infrastructure and development in Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Africa. She has vast experience of drafting and negotiating FIDIC contracts and bespoke contracts. Lauren has experience in all phases of the construction project life cycle, including advising several large developers in the Middle East on the application and impact of existing laws and regulations on new developments and in relation to export finance for large projects in Africa.

Chris is a partner in Dentons’ Dubai office. He is a member of the Disputes division. Chris has more than 20 years’ experience in helping clients to solve regulatory problems and manage difficult interactions with regulators and law enforcement. His practice is focused on financial markets where he acts for both institutions and individuals. He is experienced in all aspects of regulatory enforcement and interventions in both retail and wholesale markets. Chris also regularly advises listed entities on issues related to inside information and market disclosures. Chris advises clients on the management of both internal and external investigations of alleged misconduct. He also advises on customer and counterparty disputes where there is a regulatory angle to the dispute. Chris also uses his experience as a former criminal barrister to assist clients facing criminal investigation or prosecution.

He leads Dentons’ Banking Regulation and Financial Institutions Regulatory practice in the Middle East and also has banking transactional expertise. He has more than 20 years of experience advising on regulatory matters in the financial services sector, including new market entry licensing applications and upgrades, innovative product regulatory analysis (including fintech), cross-border promotion, regulatory investigations and legislative enhancement projects. In addition, Ahmed has a wealth of experience as lead counsel on banking and finance transactions (including conventional and Islamic finance) and structuring banking products. Ahmed focuses primarily on the Saudi Arabia, mainland UAE, DIFC, ADGM and Qatar markets. Jennifer Davis is a senior associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice in Dentons' Doha office. She has more than six years of experience working on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious construction and projects matters, including advising clients on high-value complex projects in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the UK. Her experience spans a range of different sectors, including renewable and low-carbon energy (new nuclear, offshore and onshore wind, solar and battery storage, and biomass projects), highways and transportation, and commercial and real estate development. Jennifer has considerable experience in providing advice on major projects throughout the project lifecycle, including on project structure, procurement strategy, contract strategy, operation and maintenance, and dispute avoidance. She has particular experience in advising on complex EPC, O&M and supply agreements, as well as traditional construction and design-and-build procurements, including detailed knowledge of FIDIC, NEC3/4, JCT and IChemE suites of contracts. Jennifer also has a range of experience in acting for clients on contentious matters, including project counsel advice, international arbitration, mediation, UK High Court litigation and construction adjudication. Prior to joining Dentons, Jennifer spent three years working at an international firm in the UK as a Projects and Construction specialist, which included client secondments to a European offshore wind contractor, a global renewables developer and a major UK building contractor. She also spent two years working in-house at a global energy company, advising on the first-in-a-generation new nuclear project. Jennifer trained at a Tier 1 UK firm, qualifying into its Construction & Engineering team in 2018.

Before entering private practice, Arif worked in-house for a multinational technology conglomerate, a venture-backed fintech company, a financial services company and a publishing company.

He has more than nine years of experience in the legal field, working in the areas of corporate and commercial law. Gabriel advises national and multinational firms, strategic buyers and sellers, and corporations on a variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side), investment structuring, divestitures, joint ventures and other complex corporate transactions. His corporate experience is varied and includes executing multiple structuring and restructurings for companies and groups of companies, incorporating onshore and offshore entities, optimizing commercial and corporate structure, and governance for clients. Gabriel regularly drafts and reviews a wide range of contracts and agreements across various sectors, while also performing due diligence for both national and multinational companies. Gabriel is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Bayan Jafari-Eshaiker is an associate in Dentons’ Dubai office. She is a member of the Banking and Finance practice. Bayan has experience working in both London and Dubai. Prior to joining Dentons, she was part of the Energy and Project Finance team that advised on the acquisition and financing of the offshore transmission assets relating to the Hornsea One offshore windfarm. Bayan has also worked on various restructuring and large insolvency matters in the UK, and on several corporate restructurings in the UAE for international and local clients.

Darell Pang is an associate in the Projects practice in Dentons' Abu Dhabi office. He advises sponsors and lenders on the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects across the Middle East, which include (but are not limited to) renewables, conventional energy and district cooling projects. Aside from his project finance experience, Darell also has experience in advising lenders on general banking and finance transactions. Darell worked with an international law firm in Singapore prior to joining Dentons.

Henry has experience working on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering, energy and commercial litigation matters. His contentious experience includes representing clients under major arbitration rules including the ICC, QICCA, DIAC and LCIA rules, as well as mediation and expert determination. Henry assists clients in high-value and complex arbitrations relating to defective design and/or workmanship, delay and disruption, variations, loss and expense, payment disputes, debt claims and contract interpretation. He also represents clients in relation to Qatar court and QFC court litigation. Henry also has experience in all phases of the construction project life cycle including the initial planning stages of a project. He has assisted several large developers in the Middle East, advising on the application and impact of existing laws and regulations on new developments. Elen Roberts is a senior associate based in Dentons' Abu Dhabi office and is a member of the Projects practice. She has more than five years of broad experience representing sponsors, lenders, contractors and operators on all aspects of developing major energy, infrastructure and transport projects, including in the Middle East, Africa and other emerging markets. She is experienced in working on PPP/PFI projects as well as on commercial construction transactions. Elen is fluent in French and German and has experience drafting in French.

Victoria's focus includes advising underwriters and issuers (corporates and financial institutions) in connection with various capital markets products, including regulatory capital, listed eurobonds, EMTN and ECP programme establishments/updates and drawdowns. Victoria has particular experience in advising on liability management transactions, including cash tenders, exchange offers, consent solicitations and negative consents. She also has experience in relation to both investment grade and emerging market transactions as well as sovereign and supranational bond offerings and convertible and exchangeable bonds. Victoria has been ranked as "One to Watch" for Capital Markets Law in the Best Lawyers 2024 Edition and as a Next Generation Partner in Debt Capital Markets by Legal 500 for 2024. Before qualifying, Hamad worked with the Corporate Commercial and Banking & Finance practices where he gained valuable experience assisting with M&A due diligence, commercial legal advice and liaising with various local authorities on an Emirate level as well as UAE federal level regarding a variety of commercial matters.
