Xiaoyi Tang is a Partner in Dentons’ Brussels office. Xiaoyi has more than 20 years’ working experience in advising international clients on Trade, Competition, Sanctions, Government Affairs and Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions. He specializes in international trade remedy laws, WTO Agreements, and investment incentive regulations. He combines his legal knowledge with industrial policy dynamics to offer clients practical and strategic solutions. He is particularly well-recognized in anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard proceedings, having successfully represented clients in high-profile trade remedy cases initiated in the EU, US, UK, Australia, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Mexico, South Africa, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and other jurisdictions, involving both industrial and renewable energy products. Xiaoyi also advises clients on EU’s framework for Screening of Foreign Direct Investment (“FDI”), the Foreign Subsidies Regulation, Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and the Anti-Coercion Instrument. He was recognized as a Next Generation Partner by Legal 500 in 2021 and 2022. Xiaoyi is a regular speaker at international conferences for trade and cross-border transaction issues.
