Mr. Ugarte has more than 20 years of career and professional experience in the area with practical emphasis on corporate labor issues, collective negotiations and strategic labor litigation. He has represented important companies in their corporate collective matters such as CAF Chile S.A. (Spanish company which manufactures railway vehicles and equipment), Citröen Chile S.A., Empresa Eléctrica Rucatayo S.A. (which is part of Statkraft Group) and Laboratorio Sanitas S.A. during the negotiations of the “minimum services” with the Labor Union.

In this context, also represents important companies in collective bargaining processes, with successful results and with no strikes. Some examples are Citröen Chile S.A., Kantar Worldpanel, Universidad Internacional SEK, Tivit Chileamong others. Likewise, he is a reference of opinion for the media on matters of labor and employment law, and frequently participates in dialogue instances associated with the matter in academic institutions or public or private entities.

On the other hand, his leadership and expertise have been recognized by important international directories in recent years such as: Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, Latin Lawyer among others, in prominent positions.
