Julia is a partner in Corporate Law and Securities Regulation practices. She has substantial experience advising market participants in various securities regulation matters, representing such participants in administrative litigation procedures involving the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the Appeals Council of the Brazilian Financial System (CRSFN), self-regulatory organizations, and well as structuring innovative capital markets’ transactions and business models which depend on interaction with the regulator. Counsel and Chief of Staff of CVM’s Chairman from 2013 to 2016, period in which she actively participated in several strategic regulatory discussions.
