Neil is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation and the Insolvency & Restructuring departments in Eversheds Sutherland Ireland. Neil specialises in litigation, corporate insolvency and restructuring. He has a wealth of experience, having handled some of the most commercially complex disputes and insolvencies in recent years.Most recently, Neil led negotiations with NAMA on behalf of John Ronan and the Ronan Group in exiting NAMA and refinancing their loans. During 2015, he advised Lloyds Banking Group in the bankruptcy of Sir Tony O’Reilly. Neil has also advised Vantive and Liam Carroll in the Zoe group examinership, and represented the Quinn Family in their proceedings against IBRC.Neil's recent experience includes:- Lead advisor to John Ronan and the Ronan Group in the negotiation and successful completion of their exit from NAMA, including a refinance of the group’s loans with Deutsche Bank, Colony and M&G investments.- Advising Persona Digital in a multi-billion euro claim arising out of the grant of a mobile phone licence to Esat and Denis O’Brien.- Acting for Tetrarch Capital in their acquisition of Mount Wolseley Hotel and Killashee House Hotel out of examinership.
