Position
Matt Hardwick advises on complex, high value and often first-of-their-kind energy and infrastructure projects globally. This includes concession, construction, operation, financing, supply and offtake arrangements across the full range of energy and infrastructure asset classes.
He advises on all international forms of construction contracts, including FIDIC and NEC. He was also part of the drafting committee at the Institute of Chemical Engineers that developed the IChemE suite of construction contracts for use in the industrial and process plant sectors.
Matt’s clients include governments and development finance institutions, project developers and equity investors, as well as banks, institutional investors, and monoline insurers. He has also advised regulators, offtakers and suppliers.
