Dominic is an England and Wales qualified lawyer who advises hedge funds, private equity funds, asset managers, sponsors and family offices on the establishment, regulation, corporate governance and ongoing operation of Cayman Islands domiciled investment funds, as well as the establishment of venture capital and other funding structures based in the Cayman Islands.

Based in the Dubai office, Dominic is part of Ogier's Investment Funds and Banking and Finance teams. His practice covers Cayman Islands law.

Dominic advises many of the firm's key hedge and private equity clients in the Middle East, as well as emerging and start up asset managers on the establishment, regulation, governance and ongoing operation of open-ended and closed-ended funds.

He regularly advises hedge funds, hedge fund managers, asset managers, private equity sponsors and family offices based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia. Dominic's practice includes advising on structuring, formation, regulation and corporate governance matters and the ongoing operation of Cayman Islands domiciled investment funds. He has experience in setting up and managing a range of Shariah-compliant investment fund structures.

Dominic is also part of Ogier's multi-jurisdictional Islamic Finance team and has experience in structuring transactions and products that meet both Shariah and conventional banking and finance requirements, as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
