Position

Tim has acted for all of the country’s largest national housebuilders, including regeneration specialists.In addition to acting for housebuilders, a good deal of Tim’s practice nowadays involves acting for three of the country’s largest residential land promoters.

Since 1987, Tim has specialised exclusively in the housebuilding sector and as a consequence has an enviable wealth of experience in dealing with all aspects of the acquisition and disposal of consented and unconsented land whether through conditional contracts, strategic options or land promotion agreements. He has also prepared consortium and partnering agreements between other builders, Registered Providers and local authorities. 

Career

Qualified 1983; partner Gateley 2003 to date. Tim left private practice to take up a position as in-house solicitor with Tarmac’s housing division in 1987. In 1996 he went back into private practice and worked for a number of national housebuilders on site acquisition and all related work. In 2002 he moved to Gateley to open up the firms residential development unit.

Leisure

Tim is an active but lousy footballer! He supports Coventry City FC. Tim enjoys music and is a festival goer. He also likes skiing, fell walking and motor cycling.
