John is currently working for a renewable energy supplier that specialises in supplying decentralised renewable power to large power users.
John also acts for both landlords and tenants in the negotiation and granting of new leases and subleases, the renewal and assigning of existing leases, licenses to alter and to carry out tenant works. This type of work also entails advising in other areas including breach of tenant covenant and non-payment of rent.
John also acts for sellers and buyers in the negotiation of commercial land contracts including conditional sale and purchase contracts, right of first refusal, put and call option agreements, land promotion agreements, overage agreements, joint venture agreements, clawback agreements and putting into place easements required to facilitate the development of land.
