Sejal is a Partner and Head of Employment, specialising in advising employers and high net worth individuals on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Sejal is particularly experienced in dealing with discrimination cases, including those based on religion, belief, age, disability or gender. She was involved in the high profile pregnancy litigation involving the Ministry of Defence in 1995. In addition, she has conducted a number of claims relating to whistleblowing, TUPE, equal pay and injunctions to protect confidential information. She has extensive experience representing clients at the Employment Tribunal and High Court. Other cases in which Sejal was involved include: Meredith v Ministry of Defence, Moyhing v Barts and London NHS Trust and Others, and Rackham v NHS Professionals Limited. Sejal also has experience in IR35 litigation in the Tax tribunal; having acted for high profile BBC presenters and radio presenters. Sejal provides regular workshops and training for HR professionals and managers and speaks at a number of external conferences, such as the Employment Lawyers Association and Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA).
