Career

Akaraporn Kulvijit is a partner in the litigation and arbitration practice at Weerawong C&P. With over a decade of experience, he advises and represents both domestic and international clients in a wide range of complex disputes, including commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, wrongful acts, white-collar and regulatory matters, insurance claims, and employment and labor law issues. Akaraporn has successfully led legal teams through all stages of dispute resolution, from strategic pre-litigation planning and negotiation to trial advocacy. His work is often recognized for achieving practical results while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Akaraporn advised on the development of notary public laws at the Ministry of Justice. He regularly lectures at leading Thai law schools on litigation, arbitration, labor law, and practical legal skills. He also serves on the committee of the Young Thailand Arbitration Center (YTHAC) and was cited in an official commentary on the 1958 New York Convention. Akaraporn holds an LL.B. from Thammasat University (2009) and two LL.M. degrees from the UK—University of East Anglia (2011) and Queen Mary University of London (Merit, 2012). He was admitted to the Thai Bar in 2010 and served as an International Alumni Ambassador for Queen Mary from 2014 to 2021.

His professional excellence has been consistently recognized by leading legal publications. He was listed as a Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500 in 2021, and recognized as a Notable Practitioner in dispute resolution by Asialaw Profiles for five consecutive years (2020–2024), and named a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation in  both 2024 and 2025.
