Career
Silvia is an Associate Solicitor in Simpson Millar’s Public Law team, specialising in public law, community care and human rights cases.
She has considerable expertise in helping victims of trafficking, unaccompanied minors and vulnerable adults.
In 2017, Silvia was included in the shortlist for Junior Lawyer of the Year award at the Law Society Excellence Awards. A year later, she was shortlisted for the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year award in the Children’s Rights category. She was the recipient of the 2018 ECPAT UK Children’s Champion Award.
Silvia completed a secondment as a Specialist Counter-Trafficking Legal Officer in 2019, and also contributes regularly to Legal Action magazine. In addition, she contributed a chapter on public law and community care to the 2020/2021 Legal Aid Handbook.
