He leads the customs regulation practice of Fortune Partners LLP, providing comprehensive support to domestic and international companies across various industries such as subsoil use, trade, FMCG, manufacturing, and telecommunications. His expertise includes customs value control, classification and duties, appeals of customs decisions, refund of overpaid duties and taxes, and consulting on customs procedure structuring and EAEU legislation development. Nikolay also advises clients on pre‑trial and judicial appeals related to customs disputes and represents businesses before government authorities.

Director of Legal Services Department, Fortune Partners LLP Ruslan Sadrtdinov is a lawyer with more than 11 years of experience providing comprehensive legal support to businesses. He specialises in litigation and dispute resolution in complex tax, environmental, and commercial matters. Before joining Fortune Partners, he served as the lead lawyer for a major industrial holding, where he supervised its most challenging litigation cases. Ruslan also has significant experience in M&A support, legal due diligence, and subsoil use licensing, and has been involved in legislative reform, participating in parliamentary working groups on administrative justice and civil legislation. He is also a part‑time lecturer at Maqsut Narikbayev University, teaching “Subsoil Use Law” and “Environmental Law”.
Gulmira Taskarina

Gulmira Taskarina

Senior Manager of Legal Services Department, Fortune Partners LLP Mrs Gulmira Taskarina has more than 35 years of professional experience, over 30 of them in the legal profession. She worked in the judicial system for nine years, serving as a judge of the Specialized Inter‑District Administrative Court of Kazakhstan created under the national judicial reform. Her judicial work covered tax, environmental, antitrust, land, housing, labour and family disputes. She acted as a coordinating judge for conciliation procedures, developing a balanced and systemic approach to justice. Since 2023, Gulmira has combined her judicial background with private‑sector practice as Senior Manager of Legal Services and Director of Fortune Partners Academy. She focuses on administrative and tax disputes, VAT refunds, subsoil use projects, and antitrust and environmental regulation. She also designs and leads training programs for lawyers, banks, and government representatives on applying the Administrative Procedural Code, helping practitioners interpret and use procedural norms effectively.
