Meilisa Husein is a seasoned lawyer with over 15 years of experience in corporate law, taxation, and dispute resolution. A top graduate of Atma Jaya Catholic University Jakarta, where she completed her law degree in just three years as class valedictorian, Meilisa went on to earn a Master’s degree in Business and Investment Law from the University of Indonesia.

Throughout her career, Meilisa has consistently demonstrated excellence in navigating complex legal matters for both individual and corporate clients. Her core expertise lies in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and investment, banking and finance, debt restructuring and insolvency, and construction and property. She has successfully led cross-border M&A transactions, private equity financing, secured lending, debt recovery, and bankruptcy proceedings.

She is also known for her integrated approach that combines legal and tax advisory, particularly for clients in the manufacturing, trade, finance, fisheries, and tech sectors. Meilisa regularly advises foreign and domestic investors—including clients from China, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United States—on structuring businesses and resolving stakeholder disputes. Her notable corporate clients include PT Aditya Sarana Graha (Aditya Group), PT Bhavana Ultimate Development (Villa Desa Visesa Ubud), PT Mataram Andalas Semesta (Hotel Astoria Lombok), and Interasia Technology Sdn Bhd (Malaysia).

Meilisa is a registered advocate with the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI), a certified curator and executive member of the Indonesian Receiver and Administrator Association (AKPI), and a licensed tax consultant with the Indonesian Tax Consultant Association (IKPI). She is also authorized to practice before the Indonesian Tax Court.
