Rana El-Nahal is a Partner and Head of the Corporate and M&A Group at GLA & Company, bringing over 16 years of experience providing legal counsel across diverse industries. Rana is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, business and asset transfers, settlements, and general corporate matters. Her know-how in complex corporate deals is complemented by her in-depth expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating intricate, multiparty corporate agreements, including the establishment of robust contractual precedents.

Rana has been consistently recognized, having earned the prestigious “Rising Star” designation by IFLR 1000 every year since 2021. She holds a Master’s degree from Georgetown University, where she graduated with Distinction and was honoured on the Dean’s List in 2014. She also earned her Bachelor of Laws from Cairo University in 2008.
