Career

Oliver-Christoph Günther is an attorney at law (Rechtsanwalt) and director at LeitnerLaw Rechtsanwälte. He has been with the firm since 2021. Oliver-Christoph Günther specialises in corporate and (international) tax law with a particular focus on private clients / HNWI as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. He offers clients combined tax and legal advice (one-stop solutions). Therefore, he also advises on national and international reorganizations as well as tax and structuring aspects of M&A transactions.

Before joining LeitnerLaw Rechtsanwälte, he worked for about 10 years at the Vienna office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Rechtsanwälte PartG mbB, most recently as a principal associate. He studied at Vienna University of Economics and Business and earned degrees in Business Law, Economics, and Business Administration. In 2016, he was the first person in Austria having studied exclusively at Vienna University of Economics and Business to be sworn in as an attorney.

In addition, Oliver-Christoph Günther has been an external lecturer at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law of Vienna University of Economics and Business since 2011 and at the University of Vienna since 2022.
