Especially specialized in corporate law, energy law, infrastructure, banking, gas and oil law, maritime and aviation law, the law firm “Halimi Law and Tax” has been present in the legal services market since 2001.
Founded by Mr Eduard Halimi, with 28 years of experience as a magistrate, General State Attorney, Minister of Justice, member of the Albanian Parliament for three mandates, and a leader and representative in political committees at high levels in Albania and the EU. Our founder is an author, public figure, and has influenced in justice reform processes, an external lecturer at the School of Magistrates for the continuing program, a trainer of judges and prosecutors in duty.
In addition to representing the Albanian state before Arbitration Courts, our founder has later represented important clients before these Courts in cooperation with French, Dutch, and English law firms. Among other things, Mr Halimi has successfully represented the case Cani v. Albania before the European Court of Human Rights and currently represents four other cases before this Court.
Meanwhile, other members of the “Halimi Law and Tax” team have completed their studies at the best European universities and excel in knowledge of international, European, and constitutional law, as well as tax, commercial, and competition law. Above all, our lawyers are super dedicated to clients and have a high level of success in representing clients in domestic courts.
