Career

Thiago is head of administrative law at Vernalha Pereira. Attorney-at-law and legal consultant in public law since 2004, he has relevant experience in bidding processes, public contracts, public service concessions, and public-private partnership (PPP) projects. He holds a doctorate and a master’s degree in State Law from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and was a visiting researcher at the Universities of Coimbra (Portugal) and Bologna (Italy). He is an Assistant Professor of State, Law, and Public Administration and Public Management at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), of Public Law at the Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR), and at the School of Magistracy of Paraná. He is the author of the books Contratação Pública Estratégica (Editora Almedina) and Políticas Públicas no Estado Constitucional (Editora Fórum) and of articles in collective works and academic journals.
