Testimonials
‘Alain de Jonge is a perfect business partner who shows interest in the specific needs of the business he is delivering legal services to. Not only the theoretical legal aspects matter, also the feasibility of solutions and legal setups in a day-to-day business environment.’
‘The Dispute Resolution practice of Seeds of Law places a particularly high value on resolving disputes out of court and has a particular strength in strategic legal advice at the early stages of a problem. A point of differentiation and a real benefit for clients. The focus is always on avoiding risks. When litigation can no longer be avoided, the Seeds of Law team has impressive courtroom skills. The law firm represents both corporate and private clients before all Belgian courts and is highly regarded in the market. They have an outstandingly strong sense of precedent and are extremely organised and efficient.’
‘The firm’s service orientation is really outstanding – I always feel that my wishes are immediately met. Compared to many other law firms operating in Belgium, I think Seeds of Law offers an impressive overall package, with exceptional legal expertise and a key attitude that the best solution to a dispute is not necessarily reached in court. This saves clients unnecessary risks and costs. Not surprisingly, the firm’s cost rates are always fair and comprehensible in every respect.’
‘Leo Peeters is a very constructive interlocutor, always calm, reflective and absolutely results-oriented. :Diversity
The most important thing for Seeds of Law when it comes to human resources is equality. This is why we continue By far, the most important value for Seeds of Law when it comes to human resources is inclusiveness, i.e. fairness and equality. This is why we keep working to maintain within our team diversity, cultural equality and gender equality.
Seeds of Law achieved diversity organically by bringing together several types of persons, all different, forming a multicultural and diverse team. We strive to keep this level of diversity, to fuel it and to grow it which is the basis for a strong cohesion of our team.
The diversity we have achieved in our team allows us to better understand our customers and their concerns, to assist them in a broad array of matters and to offer services in 9 different languages.
By sponsoring DiA positive (a project of the Dutch-speaking Bar of Brussels), we stimulate diversity in the legal profession. DiA positive aims to raise awareness among young people with a migration background to the opportunity to study law and, by extension, to start a career in the legal profession. Seeds of Law already experiences every day how wonderful diversity can be.
Another CSR project we support is “Maggie-program” that builds pop up schools around the world with maggie-shelters. They built a.o. schools in Iraq, The Kakuma refugee camp and a school in Mombasa Kenia.
Finally we provide legal support for free to Make-a-Wish Belgium-Flanders.
Other core values for Seeds of Law are: trust, respect and integrity. We respect our clients and their (business) needs, but we also respect our teams and their professional needs and duties. That is also how we build trust. As for integrity, we make sure to honour the ethics and morals of our stakeholders, clients, colleagues, partners and suppliers, in order to provide honest services and reach a high level of solidarity and always a win-win situation.
