Partner, Head of Real Estate

Rob is focused on real estate investment and development work, acting predominantly for private equity clients and listed property companies/investment funds. He is experienced in running UK and pan-European teams undertaking high-value and complex structured real estate transactions and has particular experience in the logistics real estate sector, having worked on many of the largest transactions in the market.

Experience includes:

-Acting for a private equity client on the real estate aspects of its disposal of a portfolio of U.K. industrial/distribution warehouses for around £360 million

-Acting for a private equity client on the real estate aspects of its strategic partnership with Goodman Logistics for the development of 935,000 sq ft of industrial/distribution warehouses (3 sites) and the acquisition of 4 built/let sites for £135 million, together with subsequent financing of the same. Rob also acted on the successful disposal of the portfolio for £280 million

-Acting for a private equity hedge fund client in the acquisition of a portfolio of care homes from Terra Firma and subsequent financing of the same

-Acting for a US listed Property Company on real estate aspects of a £1 billion JV fund with a real estate investment manager

-Acting for a US listed Property Company on various disposals of individual logistics warehouses for a total of circa £150 million and acting for them on the acquisition of various development sites

-Acting for a Korean Pension Fund on the acquisition and financing of the JPUT owning the largest bottling facility in Europe for £63m and a supermarket distribution centre for £71.4m

-Acting for a private equity client on the real estate aspects of the sale of its logistics arm for around £12 billion
